01

Context

PrivyForm was built to replace slow paper-based collection and signing

Many workflows such as account opening, job application, registration, and document submission still depend on printed forms, wet signatures, and manual back-and-forth handling.

PrivyForm was designed as a web-based platform for collecting information and completing secure digital signatures online, with PrivyID integrated as the trust layer behind the signing process.

02

Challenge

The experience had to work for both admin setup and participant completion

The product had two distinct user groups. Admin users needed a practical way to create projects, configure forms, publish links, and monitor status. Participants needed a simple flow from receiving a link to reviewing and signing without confusion.

The challenge was making the system feel dependable enough for enterprise use while keeping the journey light, readable, and easy to complete from end to end.

03

Approach

I designed the MVP around clarity, trust, and a predictable signing flow

I worked with the PM and engineers to define the MVP scope, map the core journeys, and design flows for both admins and participants. The admin side focused on form setup, publishing, and management, while the participant side focused on login, verification, form filling, document review, consent, and signing.

The interface direction was shaped to feel secure and straightforward rather than generic, with emphasis on information hierarchy, trust cues, and reducing friction across the signing journey.

04

Outcome

The MVP proved that secure signing could happen in a cleaner digital flow

PrivyForm turned a fragmented manual process into a more structured online workflow, helping teams collect data and complete digital approvals without printing, scanning, or emailing documents back and forth.

It established a solid MVP foundation for future improvements such as whitelist participants, richer field configuration, status notifications, and more advanced multi-role flow handling.
