BSI Hasanah Card

BSI and Privy worked together on a web app for Hasanah Card applications. Privy built the product, while the BSI team brought the business requirements and reviewed the direction along the way.

Applications still relied heavily on printed forms, which made acquisition and processing harder to track. The goal was to bring that process online while keeping the wording and flow appropriate for sharia banking, including the use of kartu pembiayaan rather than credit card.

The product served two very different needs. Admin teams needed to manage leads, follow progress, and review submissions. Applicants needed a clear mobile flow whether they came from an SMS campaign or a partner channel.

That flow was long: onboarding, card selection, personal data, follow-up forms, terms, OTP verification, and final review. The hard part was keeping each step understandable without making a regulated application feel overwhelming on a phone.

I worked with the PM and engineers on both the admin dashboard and the mobile application flow. We broke the journey into clearer stages, simplified the forms, and added stronger feedback where people had to make a decision or correct an error.

For admins, the focus was lead and submission management. For applicants, it was card information, form completion, validation, review, and OTP verification. Each screen had one job: help the user move forward with confidence.

The new flow gave admin teams a more organised way to handle submissions and gave applicants a way to complete the process online instead of starting with a paper form at the bank.

It created a more practical path from acquisition to submission without losing the checks and approval steps required in a regulated product.
